Creative Design & Research Assistant (Intern)

A clear, execution-focused role supporting a founder-led literary studio.

About Kathansh

Hey, I’m Srishti — the story coach & literary editor behind Kathansh, where I help fiction writers (especially women with big dreams and full-time jobs) go from scattered scenes to stunning stories… all without the burnout.

I’m a solopreneur building something meaningful and creative. Everything inside Kathansh carries my voice, my standards, and my love for storytelling. If you enjoy design, structured creativity, and supporting a purpose-driven brand, you’ll feel at home here.

About The Role

Structure: 15-day unpaid training → 3-month paid internship

Stipend: ₹5,000/month

Hours: 6–8 hours/week (with occasional 8–10 hours during extremely busy weeks)

Start: Immediate

Location: Remote (You must be an 18+ Indian citizen)

Tools: Canva + Notion + Google Docs/Sheets

This is an execution-focused role; perfect for someone who wants to learn, grow, and get hands-on experience in a creative business.

You do NOT need to ideate content or strategize.

I’ll handle thinking; you’ll help me bring everything to life with clean, consistent design and organized support.

What You’ll Do (Internship Phase)

1. Canva Graphics (Core)

  • Turn my weekly content text into on-brand carousels

  • Create reel covers and story graphics

  • Design simple PDFs/resources/worksheets for workshops & client programs

  • Maintain consistent spacing, alignment, typography, and brand identity

  • Catch typos or inconsistencies before sending drafts

2. Lead Sourcing

  • Find relevant high quality leads for my cold outreach strategy {based on my instructions}

  • Build weekly lead lists & database

  • Keep everything organized in Notion/Sheets

3. Content Repurposing (Will be added in 3rd month)

  • Take my long-form content (blogs/newsletters) and pull out relevant snippet +convert them into carousel drafts or story layouts

  • Follow the style, content ideas & patterns I teach you

4. Resource/Client Material Support (Occasional)

  • Help design worksheets, guides, and simple resource materials

  • Keep creative files tidy and structured

What You’ll Learn in the 15-Day Training Period (Unpaid)

Hours: 6–8 hours/week

This period helps you settle into the workflow without the pressure of deliverables.

This is a gentle onboarding phase where you learn:

  • How I design and format graphics

  • How to follow my brand style

  • How I find authors for cold outreach

  • How to maintain clean file organization

  • How to revise designs based on feedback

  • How we use Notion + Google Docs/Sheets for workflow

You’ll create practice designs and do trial lead sourcing, and I’ll review and refine with you.

This is a supportive, growth-focused experience.

Opportunity After Internship

If I enjoy working with you and your work is consistent, you may move into a part-time Creative Virtual Assistant role (₹10,000–₹12,000/month) with:

  • More hours

  • More creative ownership

  • More repurposing responsibility

  • Optional training to eventually support content strategy (NOT required)

This depends entirely on your performance & passion.
